Marilyn and her staff were all helpful, friendly and kind. We would highly recommend this beautiful place!

No running water in room. You climb a hill to bathroom. Bedding and mattress is old. Towels in the outside uphill bathroom old and thin it is clean. Outside kitchen and gazebo areas is not cleaned up. Very dusty and dirty. The cabin is cute, dated very limited supplies. NO RUNNING WATER.
View is beautiful and Marilyn is nice. I just think it’s hard to find dry cabin in description. Ty

Had the perfect stay. My brother and I were in town for a half marathon and loved the accommodations. Will be back in the near future.

We stayed a week at cabin 3 . Loved the cabin . Was everything we were told it would be plus more . The view , quite peaceful, wildlife and nature were awesome . Hospitality was great , wonderful people to deal with . Would definitely reserve it again or the bigger cabin , it looked beautiful .

The cabin was exactly like on the photos and description. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and well taken care of.
The whole grounds are well kept, quiet and peaceful.
The host was friendly and on top of everything.

Marilyn was a great host. She personally checked us in, walked us to our cabin, and shower house room. The setup is great for a small family.

The location is great within the Black Hills and easy access to all the sights, while being away from the tourist attractions.

Peaceful location, we enjoyed the frequent drive on Iron Mountain road to and from our cabin. Beautiful surroundings. Our almost 4-year-old LOVED socializing with other kiddos on the playground in the center of the cabins. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck. Everything was comfortable and cozy. Clean bedding and towels were provided which was convenient. We also appreciated the recommended daily trip suggestions they had printed off. They included clear directions to popular locations and restaurants. Enough to keep you busy for four day trips. They thought of everything!

Marilyn’s cabins are charming in a gorgeous secluded setting. The vibe is relaxed, family friendly, and attuned to the beauty of the Black Hills. When a party arrived after a spill in the Badlands, Marilyn generously provided a walking stick and cold packs. Great host who has created a peaceful oasis for those seeking a retreat in the fresh air, surrounded by birdsongs, whispering Ponderosa pines, and convenient to all the sites.

Marilyn’s place was perfect for us. We were going to the buffalo roundup in Custer State Park and this was quite close. The cabin was just as described, was clean and appropriately stocked, and wonderfully peaceful. There was a separate building with a bathroom for each cabin and it was very clean. Marilyn was so helpful and gave us the local lay of the land with directions to the roundup. The wild turkeys and deer in the courtyard were a perfect bonus as we sat on the porch drinking coffee. Highly recommend!

Our stay at cabin #3 was great. Easy access to your own bathroom. The room was clean and the location was very peaceful.

Loved this place! It was for sure the best place we stayed during our vacation. Best glamping experience. The bathroom house was great, each cabin has their own private bathroom. Everything was tastefully decorated and this property is quiet and away from the hustle of town. We absolutely loved our stay at Marilyn’s Airbnb. This was our first time staying in a cabin the Dakotas and Marilyn’s hospitality made it the most enjoyable experience for a family of 4 with 2 young children! Our boys (5 and 3) have not stopped talking about the cabin and everything that was within driving distance. Marilyn was an excellent host. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect homebase for our family vacation. We were close to the parks and sites in the area. It was very peaceful and relaxing. We loved it and highly recommend it!

We could not have picked a better location. It was in a quiet, peaceful locale and also close to the places we wanted to go, Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. We appreciated the private bathroom just for us in the shower house and the cabin was a perfect size for our family of three. Such a fabulous place to stay if you're taking a trip to the Black Hills! Having the dedicated bathroom was so nice. Marilyn was so kind and gave us a tour of our space, answering all of our questions.

I stayed at Marilyn’s place with my wife and our 8 and 4 year old. They loved playing on the playground in our downtime, it’s a great place for kids as there were other families who stayed here and other children around for the kids to play with. You can watch them play from your private deck or under the gazebo! When it was time to go home, our kids didn’t want to leave! Great location, close proximity to many activities, downtown keystone and restaurants nearby, and 15 min drive to Mount Rushmore. We would definitely stay again! “It’s not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later!” 😉

This place is all that you’d expect and more! Whole surroundings are super clean, amazing spot for a weekend getaway, most of the good spots are nearby as well. The hosts are amazing and were very helpful and accommodating for our late check in. I would definitely recommend staying here!

It was a great place to stay! Marilyn took us to our cabin personally. She had driving instruction to all the attractions. Which was very helpful. The cabin and bathroom were very spacious and clean. It was a little out of the way. But, if you like a little privacy. This is the place for you.

We were coming from the Grand Tetons and the drive took longer than expected after our last hike that morning, we were going to be late and communicated with Marilyn about our arrival time. She made sure check in was easy, gave perfect directions to our cabin and explained everything earlier over the phone in the case we missed her. She mentioned a worker might see us and they’d help, which they did when we pulled in. Everyone was so nice! We were there to hike and having the extra water jug in the cabin was so nice! Also great to not have to bring our own towels, and having our own bathroom and shower area fully stocked. I wish we had more time there to enjoy her location, it was beautiful and tons to do.

Loved staying in this cabin - Marilyn was super communicative and helpful, even though my sister and I checked in after dark. She personally greeted us and showed us our cabin, which was much appreciated after a long day of travel.

The space itself was quiet and private - loved that there was a water cooler in the unit and a coffee pot so we could enjoy a quick breakfast before heading into town and off to hikes. The bathroom and shower, while separate from the sleeping area, was modern and super clean. Would stay here again and recommend it to others.
